Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Full-Time Orthopedic Physical Health Therapist to join our team. Located in Lakewood, New Jersey, Saddle Mind Rehab & Wellness Center is an outstanding outpatient facility designed to provide comprehensive orthopedic rehabilitation services. Our state-of-the-art 5000 square foot sports medicine environment is equipped with the latest technology to support our skilled team. As a practice that mainly caters to patients with private medical insurance, we maintain a patient-centered approach, prioritizing personalized treatment and optimal outcomes. Our cohesive team consists of experienced practitioners including two physical therapists and one physical therapist assistant (PTA), creating an environment of collaboration and excellence.
Work Environment
This position is fully onsite at our Lakewood facility. You will be working within a vibrant team atmosphere, where communication and collaboration are key. The work schedule is Monday to Friday from 9 AM to 5 PM, ensuring a consistent routine. Our facility is designed not only for treatment but also to foster a welcoming environment for both patients and staff, promoting well-being and comfort during therapy sessions.
Key Responsibilities
- Assess patients' needs and establish individualized care plans that reflect their specific goals and objectives.
- Effectively manage a caseload of up to one patient per hour, ensuring efficient treatment while maintaining the highest quality of care.
- Utilize diverse treatment techniques to promote healing, including manual therapy and exercise programs specifically designed for orthopedic conditions.
- Monitor patient progress through regular evaluations and adjustment of treatment plans as necessary to achieve desired outcomes.
- Document patient interactions thoroughly and maintain accurate records using electronic medical record (EMR) systems like WebPT.
- Discuss and collaborate with other healthcare professionals to enhance the effectiveness of patient care.
- Educate patients on health and wellness practices to motivate them throughout their recovery journey.
- Help patients minimize reliance on medications through alternative therapeutic solutions and effective rehabilitation.

Qualifications
- A Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required for this position.
- Must hold a valid license as a Physical Therapist in New Jersey.
- Applicants should demonstrate a clean professional record with no disciplinary actions against their license.
- Expertise in manual therapy techniques and the development of customized exercise regimens is essential.
- Experience with electronic medical records, particularly WebPT, is strongly preferred.
Preferred Experience
- Prior experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable, with proven success in delivering patient-centered care.
- Demonstrable skills in working collaboratively with a healthcare team, integrating multi-disciplinary approaches for holistic patient management.
Compensation and Benefits
The position offers a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 - 120,000 annually, commensurate with experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package.
