Job Description
The selected candidate will support the efforts of a Project Manager in team supervision and execution of various electrical projects independently including: Designing electric services for military and government facilities, industrial, commercial, and educational construction projects. Developing lighting and power designs, site power design and planning, and emergency power design. Types of projects may include new or renovations for office buildings, retail stores, industrial buildings, manufacturing and assembly plants, schools, medical and healthcare facilities, DoD and public agency operations and maintenance facilities, utilities, pump and lift stations, SCADA/Telemetry and others. Designing power distribution and sub-transmission equipment, equipment configurations. Performing electrical design involving high and low voltages. Performing both power demand and fault current calculations. Utility coordination. Preparing cost estimations. Permit processing. Construction support. Performing reviews for drawings, engineering calculations, and specifications by others. Working as owners' representative in review and approval process.
