Work Environment

Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive biomechanical evaluations and movement assessments for patients recovering from sports-related injuries.
- Implement manual therapy techniques and design individualized, evidence-based rehabilitation programs aimed at promoting active recovery.
- Administer advanced return-to-play testing and provide sport-specific training sessions to prepare athletes for safe reintegration into their respective sports.
- Collaborate effectively with athletic trainers, orthopedic specialists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure a holistic approach to patient recovery.
- Educate athletes and their families on injury prevention, recovery strategies, and long-term mobility goals to empower them in their health journey.
Patient Population / Client Focus
Your primary focus will be on diverse patient populations, including high school athletes, college sports participants, and weekend warriors who seek effective rehabilitation from injuries. The clientele spans various sports disciplines, requiring tailored approaches to rehabilitation that align with their specific goals and activities.
Qualifications
- A licensed Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) in Nevada or eligible for licensure.
- Demonstrated passion for sports medicine and familiarity with biomechanics and evidence-based rehabilitation practices.
- Proficiency in manual therapy techniques, therapeutic exercise, and functional performance training methodologies.
- Exceptional communication skills, with a strong athlete-first mindset and emphasis on patient education.
- Experience in both rehabilitation settings and return-to-sport contexts, showcasing adaptability between therapeutic and competitive environments.
Preferred Experience
- Certification as a Sports Clinical Specialist (SCS) or Orthopedic Clinical Specialist (OCS).
- A background in athletic training or experience in collegiate or professional sports rehabilitation.
- Hands-on experience with specialized techniques such as blood flow restriction therapy, dry needling, and utilizing sport-tech tools like force plates and motion capture systems.
Compensation and Benefits
We offer a competitive salary range of $90,000 to $100,000 per year, complemented by performance incentives and opportunities for advancement.
