Project Analyst Supervisor Design & Construction Services University of California, Santa Barbara Summary of Job Details: The Project Analyst - Supervisor provides professional contract administration and project administration support for DCS capital improvement and deferred maintenance projects, while supervising and providing direction to DCS Project Analysts. The position independently analyzes and administers contractual and project requirements in accordance with University policy, the Public Contract Code, the UC Facilities Manual, and applicable Federal and State requirements. The position provides guidance and recommendations to project management staff regarding contract administration, project documentation, compliance requirements, and administrative processes, and serves as the administrative lead and program management software specialist for DCS. The Project Analyst - Supervisor also supports the Labor Compliance Officer in the administration and oversight of the University's Federal and State-mandated Labor Compliance Programs, including prevailing wage, certified payroll, apprenticeship, and related compliance requirements. The position supervises, trains, and develops Project Analysts to ensure consistent and effective administration of project and contract responsibilities. Required Qualifications: • Required Bachelor's degree in a related area. Bachelor's Degree • 4-6 years Experience providing analytical and administrative support for complex organizations, construction projects and/or construction administrative processes. Required • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, including effective negotiation skills. • Advanced analytical and technical skills for all facets of project administration. • Developed interpersonal skills to collaborate and problem-solve successfully with a variety of artists, lecturers, agents, and university and external contacts. • Strong customer service orientation, creative problem solving and analytical thinking skills as demonstrated in a professional environment. • General knowledge of design and construction project administration. • Computer proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, Microsoft Project (or other scheduling program). • California Driver's License Upon Hire Required Special Conditions of Employment: • Hours and days may vary to meet the operational needs of the department. • Required to hold a valid driver's license, have a driving record that is in accordance with local policies and procedures, and/or enroll in the California Employer Pull Notice Program. • Satisfactory criminal history background check • UCSB is a Tobacco-Free environment • Master key access to University-owned residence and/or other facilities. Hiring/Budgeted Salary or Hourly Range: $94,000.00/yr to $101,700.00/year.
