Porterville Movement Rehab & Wellness Center is seeking a dedicated and experienced Licensed Physical Health Therapist to join our orthopedic outpatient practice in Irvine, California. We take pride in our team-oriented approach, working alongside two experienced physical therapists and a skilled physical therapist assistant (PTA) to deliver unparalleled patient support. Our primary patient demographic consists of individuals covered by private medical insurance, allowing us to focus on delivering quality care tailored to each patient's specific needs.

Work Environment

Located in the vibrant city of Irvine, California, our clinic offers a dynamic and collaborative onsite work environment. The full-time work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 9 AM to 5 PM, which allows for a balanced professional and personal life. Our rehabilitation facility is designed to foster teamwork and effective communication, ensuring that every staff member contributes to our overarching goal of patient success.

Key Responsibilities
  • Assess and identify the rehabilitation needs of patients in alignment with their personal objectives.
  • Manage a patient caseload efficiently, focusing on providing individualized treatment to one patient per hour.
  • Develop and implement comprehensive care plans that employ a variety of therapeutic techniques, tailored to each patient's requirements.
  • Utilize effective and cost-efficient treatment modalities to enhance patients' motion capabilities while reducing reliance on medications and invasive surgical options.
  • Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of patient care and interventions in compliance with organizational standards.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to patient rehabilitation.
  • Motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, empowering them to reach their functional goals.
  • Encourage lifestyle improvements by focusing on enhancing strength, flexibility, balance, and coordination.
  • Participate in the continuous improvement of rehabilitation practices within the facility.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patients primarily include individuals seeking rehabilitation following orthopedic surgeries, injuries, or chronic pain conditions. Our focus is on delivering quality care that enables these patients to achieve their maximum potential in movement and functionality. Your role will be instrumental in supporting their journey from injury or limitation to regained independence.

Qualifications
  • A Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy or a Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is required.
  • Current licensure as a Physical Therapist in California is mandatory.
  • A clean professional record, with no disciplinary actions against your license.
Preferred Experience
  • Previous experience in an orthopedic outpatient setting is highly desirable.
  • Competence in manual therapy techniques and familiarity with developing exercise regimens.
  • Proficiency in electronic medical record (EMR) systems, particularly WebPT, is preferred.
Compensation and Benefits

The annual salary for this position ranges from USD 100,000 to 120,000, commensurate with experience. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes health insurance, paid time off, and retirement plan options.
