Job Title: Fund Accountant Location: Boston MA 02210 Duration: Contract - 6 months (Temp to Perm possible) Pay Range: $22/hr $24/hr (W2) Job ID: 410819 Work Schedule: Hybrid, 3 days onsite and 2 days remote. 40 hours per week. Ability to work US holidays and overtime as necessary. Job Description We are seeking a Fund Accountant to join our team. The role provides specialized accounting support for commingled investment portfolios and executes key aspects of daily net asset value, including transactions, capital stock, expenses, corporate actions, cash, special handling, and break identification and resolution. The Fund Accountant ensures daily deliverables are timely and accurate and serves as a primary contact for derivative valuation inquiries. Responsibilities: Execute daily NAV processes across transactions, capital stock, expenses, corporate actions, cash, and special handling. Serve as primary contact for derivative valuation inquiries. Verify data, identify breaks, and drive timely break resolution. Escalate problem items and monitor open inquiries through closure. Manage daily volume and production reporting while meeting quality and timeliness standards. Coordinate with internal departments to resolve issues and minimize risk and exposure. Contribute to management reporting such as Clarity, PVCs, past dues, cash breaks, and R&A analysis. Support team deadlines and requirements, ensuring consistent daily output. Participate in division and firm process improvement initiatives to gain efficiencies and improve productivity. Develop an understanding of how assigned functions impact the broader business. Required Skills & Qualifications: BA/BS degree or equivalent work experience. Demonstrated Microsoft Office proficiency. Ability to identify, escalate, and resolve issues in a deadline-driven environment. Strong verbal and written communication skills with professional demeanor. Effective time management, organizational skills, and attention to detail. Team-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and meet deadlines. Ability to work US holidays and overtime as needed. Preferred Skills: Experience with fund accounting systems and derivative valuation workflows.
