This position offers the opportunity to take ownership of key accounting processes, collaborate with business leaders, and contribute to the financial success of a dynamic organization.
The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, proactive, and motivated to drive accuracy, efficiency, and continuous improvement. Key Responsibilities
  • Lead month-end and year-end close activities
  • Prepare and review journal entries, reconciliations, and financial statements
  • Maintain the general ledger and ensure accurate financial reporting
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
  • Assist with internal and external audits
  • Ensure compliance with GAAP and company accounting policies
  • Analyze financial data and identify opportunities for process improvement
  • Partner with operational teams to support business objectives
  • Assist in developing and strengthening internal controls
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 5+ years of progressive accounting experience
  • Strong understanding of GAAP and financial reporting requirements
  • Experience with ERP systems and accounting software
  • Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • CPA designation or CPA-track preferred
  • Experience in manufacturing, aerospace, defense, engineering, construction, industrial services, or other project-based environments is highly desirable
  • Exposure to cost accounting, project accounting, or job costing practices is considered a plus
