Firewall engineer Remote Required Technical Skills Expert-level Cisco Firewall experience, specifically: Cisco Firepower Threat Defense (FTD) Cisco ASA Firewall Management Center (FMC) Strong networking fundamentals: TCP/IP Subnetting Routing Switching Firewall technologies Strong understanding of firewall traffic analysis and application data flows. Experience creating firewall rules based on source/destination/port requirements. Experience with network segmentation and security frameworks such as: ISA-95 NIST NIS2 Strong understanding of firewall object and object-group management. Experience with Jira for task tracking, documentation, and status updates. Strong Microsoft Excel skills for analyzing firewall traffic exports and identifying traffic patterns. Ability to create clear and concise firewall rule templates using Excel. Strong Microsoft Office 365 and Teams/SharePoint experience.
