Job Title: Intermediate .NET Developer - ASP.NET Web Forms / SQL Server Position Overview Work across the full application development life cycle on Microsoft-based web applications, contributing to requirements gathering, design, development, testing, implementation, training, and ongoing maintenance. This intermediate-level role is suited to a hands-on .NET developer with strong ASP.NET Web Forms, VB.NET or C#, SQL Server, and front-end development experience. Important: This position requires ASP.NET Web Forms experience. ASP.NET MVC experience does not satisfy this requirement. What You'll Do / Key Responsibilities Participate in all phases of the application development life cycle, including requirements gathering, analysis, design, technical specifications research, development, testing, implementation, training, and maintenance. Design, develop, implement, and maintain web-based applications using the Microsoft platform. Develop and maintain applications using ASP.NET Web Forms and VB.NET or C#. Work with SQL Server databases, including complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures. Develop and maintain web application functionality using JavaScript, HTML, CSS, AJAX, jQuery, Bootstrap, JSON, and XML. Contribute to console and batch applications for data interfaces and web services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF). Use Azure DevOps and Git source code management as part of the development process. Develop and maintain documentation for procedures and processes. Manage project work plans, coordinate tasks, and contribute to resolving technical problems. Collaborate effectively with team members, communicate with customers, and mentor other employees as needed. Manage multiple tasks and projects efficiently in a public-facing environment while following established standards. Required Qualifications Candidates must demonstrate the following required skills and experience: Microsoft Development Technologies ASP.NET utilizing Web Forms - Advanced. ASP.NET MVC experience does not apply to this requirement. VB.NET or C# - Advanced. Visual Studio 2010 or later - Advanced. Expertise in designing and implementing web-based applications using the Microsoft platform - Advanced. Experience across the full application/systems development life cycle, including analysis, requirements definition, design, technical specifications research, development, testing, implementation, and maintenance - Advanced. Web Development Technologies JavaScript - Advanced. HTML - Advanced. CSS - Advanced. AJAX - Intermediate. jQuery - Intermediate. Bootstrap - Intermediate. JSON - Beginner. XML - Intermediate. Database and Data Integration SQL Server 2016 or later - Advanced. Writing complex SQL queries, functions, and stored procedures - Intermediate. Writing console and batch applications for data interfaces - Beginner. Developing web services using Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) - Beginner. Operating Systems and Source Control Windows operating systems - Intermediate. Azure DevOps / Git source code management - Beginner. Professional and Communication Skills Ability to communicate effectively in English, verbally and in writing. Strong oral and written communication, customer service, and time management skills. Expertise in IT project management, including the ability to develop, track, and manage project work plans. Ability to work effectively with a team to accomplish projects and solve technical problems. Ability to conceive and/or develop creative solutions and demonstrate strong problem-solving skills. Experience working with outlined standards. Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects quickly and efficiently in a public-facing environment. Ability to mentor other employees. Experience developing and maintaining documentation for procedures and processes. Preferred Qualifications The following skills are preferred and are not required: Payment application development and maintenance. Licensing and permitting application development and maintenance. Data conversion/migration experience, excluding DTS and SSIS migration packages. Crystal Reports Designer. ADA Title II compliance experience.
