Job Description: Staffing Boutique is recruiting a Middle School ELA Teacher for a charter school in Manhattan. This is a full time, on site role for the upcoming school year. Certification is preferred, and strong ELA content knowledge is essential. An $8,000 sign on bonus is available for the selected candidate.
Position: Middle School ELA Teacher
Location: Manhattan
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 7:15 AM-4:00 PM
Salary: $70,000-$95,000 (commensurate with experience)
Sign On Bonus: $8,000
Requirements
• NYS teaching certification preferred
• Minimum 2 years teaching experience preferred
• Strong content knowledge in ELA
• Ability to deliver engaging, standards aligned instruction
• Must clear all required background checks
Responsibilities
• Teach daily middle school ELA lessons aligned to standards
• Create engaging, rigorous instruction that supports literacy and critical thinking
• Maintain strong classroom management and a positive learning environment
• Collaborate with colleagues on planning and interventions
• Communicate consistently with families about student progress
• Support a respectful, academically focused classroom culture
