Water & Fire Damage Restoration Technician (Property Restoration, Dedicated Client) Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 DOE TEMP TO HIRE
Schedule: Full-time On call / emergency response may be required
Position Overview: K&S Staffing Solutions is seeking entry-level
Water & Fire Damage Restoration Technicians to support mitigation and recovery efforts on residential and commercial properties. This role focuses on assisting with water extraction, fire damage cleanup, and restoration preparation. The Water Damage Restoration Technician is responsible for taking a leadership role in projects from cleanup and demo to assisting in, when required, rebuild of structures damaged by water, smoke, mold, fire, and biohazard incidentsPositions are local to Bay, Walton, Okaloosa and surrounding areas.
Key Responsibilities: - Assist with water extraction, drying, and cleanup
- Support fire damage restoration , including soot and debris removal
- Set up and monitor drying equipment (air movers, dehumidifiers)
- Perform demolition of damaged materials (drywall, flooring, insulation)
- Maintain containment areas and assist with basic mold remediation support
- Follow all safety protocols, PPE requirements, and site procedures
- Work under supervision of lead technicians and project managers
- IICRC Certification in Water, Mold, Fire/Smoke/Odor
Requirements: - Construction, restoration, or general labor experience preferred
- Ability to work in physically demanding environments
- Comfortable working in confined spaces and varying conditions
- Reliable transportation
- Must be able to lift 50+ lbs.
