Mechanical Design Engineer

Mechanical Design Engineer Pay Range: $40.00â $50.00 per hour Employment Type: Full-Time City: Huntington Beach, CA Position Overview We are seeking an experienced Mechanical Design Engineer to support specialized engineering and research and development projects. This position is ideal for a design engineer with a strong mechanical engineering background, advanced 3D CAD modeling skills, and experience with structural analysis. The ideal candidate will have at least five years of mechanical design experience, proficiency in Siemens NX or similar 3D CAD software, and preferably a background in aerospace or aircraft design. Key Responsibilities Develop mechanical designs and detailed 3D CAD models for specialized engineering applications. Create and refine engineering models using Siemens NX or comparable 3D CAD software. Perform or support structural analysis to evaluate design integrity and performance. Apply mechanical engineering principles to complex design and development projects. Support research and development activities through detailed design, modeling, and engineering analysis. Collaborate with engineering teams to address design challenges and meet project requirements. Qualifications Minimum of five years of mechanical design engineering experience. Proficiency in 3D CAD modeling using Siemens NX or similar software. Experience with structural analysis. Bachelor's degree in Engineering required. Mechanical Engineering or Aeronautical Engineering degree preferred. Aerospace or aircraft design experience preferred. Work Environment Specialized engineering and research and development environment. Projects involving complex mechanical design and advanced engineering applications.
