Laboratory Assistant (Entry Level)

The Laboratory Assistant reports to the Team Lead and/or Supervisor and supports high-volume sample processing by preparing and handling tissue specimens, maintaining a clean laboratory environment, and completing accurate data entry. The position is a night shift running from 1:00am-9:00am, Tuesday through Saturday.

Responsibilities

• Data entry.
• Prepare samples for laboratory processing.
• Handle specimens according to laboratory procedures.
• Complete accurate data entry related to specimen processing.
• Maintain a clean and organized laboratory environment.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous laboratory experience preferred but not required.
• Strong attention to detail.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a team.

We are a full service histology laboratory that serves various hospitals, clinics, and medical groups throughout Northern California.
