Job Description
Senior Projects Analyst - Houston, TX iSphere is looking for a Senior Projects Analyst for a 2-year onsite opportunity in Houston. This role sits right in the middle of projects, procurement, SAP, and day-to-day project support. The client needs someone who knows how to keep the administrative and financial side of project work moving without letting requisitions, POs, invoices, access requests, or SAP issues become the thing holding everything up. You will support Midstream Projects with purchasing, project setup, labor and expense activities, vendor coordination, SAP troubleshooting, documentation, and reporting. You will also serve as a go-to resource for Project Leads when they need help figuring out why something is not flowing correctly through SAP. A big part of the job is making sure project costs, purchase orders, change orders, and documentation are accurate and where they need to be. That means working closely with Procurement, Accounts Payable, vendors, Project Leads, and other internal teams to get issues resolved and keep projects moving. What we need: 3+ years of experience supporting maintenance or project activities using SAP or a similar system Strong SAP experience, especially around project, maintenance, requisitioning, or purchasing activity Experience creating requisitions and supporting purchase order and invoice issues Experience working with Procurement and Accounts Payable Ability to research project data and troubleshoot SAP-related issues Strong Microsoft Office skills Ability to read and understand drawings and technical documentation Experience supporting multiple projects at the same time Strong communication and follow-up skills Experience with procurement activities, project controls, pipeline or terminal operations, and maintenance systems would be a big plus. The client also wants someone who can become a real SAP resource for the team, not just a user. You may help train Project Leads, support Project Builder requisitioning, troubleshoot system errors, manage project access, and help other team members understand how to use the system correctly. Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with pipeline or terminal equipment will also get our attention, especially if you have worked in Midstream before. The person who does well here will be organized, persistent, and comfortable chasing down the details that keep projects from getting stuck. If SAP, projects, procurement, and making sure the numbers and documentation are right are all familiar territory, we should talk.
