Job Details Responsibilities: As an Accounting Supervisor - JV and Regulatory Reporting, your responsibilities will include but not be limited to: 1. Supervising and coordinating the preparation of JV and regulatory reports in compliance with company standards and regulatory requirements. 2. Ensuring the accurate and timely submission of all JV and regulatory reports. 3. Overseeing the audit process for JV and regulatory reports, ensuring all audits are conducted in a timely and efficient manner. 4. Providing advisory services on accounting matters related to JV and regulatory reporting. 5. Implementing and maintaining internal controls to ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements. 6. Collaborating with other departments to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial information. 7. Identifying and implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency and accuracy in JV and regulatory reporting. 8. Providing leadership and guidance to the JV and regulatory reporting team, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment. Qualifications: To be successful in the Permanent Accounting Supervisor - JV and Regulatory Reporting role, you will need: 1. A minimum of 5 years of experience in Big 4 audit or advisory. 2. A Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field. A CPA or equivalent professional certification is highly desirable. 3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures, with a specific focus on JV and regulatory reporting. 4. Experience in audit and advisory services, with a demonstrated ability to effectively manage and coordinate audit processes. 5. Proven leadership skills, with the ability to supervise and motivate a team. 6. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a keen attention to detail. 7. Strong communication skills, with the ability to effectively communicate complex financial information to non-financial stakeholders. 8. Proficiency in using accounting software and other financial systems. 9. Experience in the energy industry is highly desirable but not a requirement.
