Software Engineer

JOB TITLE: Software Engineer JOB LOCATION: Austin TX or Boston MA WAGE RANGE : $65-$70 JOB NUMBER: 269 JOB DESCRIPTION: Duties & Responsibilities Design, develop, test, deploy, and document scalable web applications and software systems. Design and build modern full-stack solutions using Node.js, React, and related JavaScript/TypeScript frameworks and libraries. Translate business requirements and functional specifications into clear technical designs, implementation plans, and working software. Design, develop, optimize, and maintain relational database solutions, including schema design, query development, stored procedures, performance tuning, and data integrity practices; PostgreSQL experience is preferred. Develop and integrate AI-enabled capabilities, including use of LLMs, AI services, intelligent automation, document processing, entity extraction, or workflow optimization where appropriate. Use AWS development tools and cloud services to design, build, deploy, monitor, and support cloud-based applications. Follow coding, testing, security, and documentation standards; actively participate in architecture reviews, design reviews, and code reviews. Collaborate with internal team members, product owners, business analysts, QA, and DevOps resources to clarify requirements, resolve issues, and support successful delivery. Troubleshoot production and non-production issues, analyze root causes, and implement durable fixes that improve reliability, maintainability, and performance. Continuously identify opportunities to improve development practices, system performance, team effectiveness, and product quality.
