Job Details Job Details: We are on the hunt for a dynamic, innovative, and experienced Consulting Epic Certified Application Analyst to join our healthcare team. This role is pivotal in implementing and supporting our health information systems across the organization. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare IT, with a particular focus on Epic applications. With your extensive experience and knowledge, you'll be tasked with ensuring our systems are optimized to support our healthcare professionals and ultimately enhance patient care. Responsibilities: 1. Provide expert-level knowledge and support of specific Epic applications, serving as the primary point of contact for users and stakeholders. 2. Lead the planning, analysis, design, implementation, maintenance, and control of the organization's server-class databases. 3. Collaborate with clinical and operational stakeholders to understand their needs and translate them into functional system requirements. 4. Conduct regular system audits to ensure optimal performance and compliance with regulatory standards. 5. Troubleshoot and resolve complex software and business process issues related to Epic applications. 6. Develop and deliver training materials for end-users, ensuring they can effectively use the applications. 7. Participate in the development, execution, and oversight of system testing to ensure the system's functionality and reliability. 8. Stay updated on the latest developments and improvements in Epic applications and healthcare IT more broadly, making recommendations for system improvements as necessary. 9. Provide on-call support for Epic applications as needed. Qualifications: 1. A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Healthcare, Business Administration, or a related field. 2. A minimum of 5 years of experience in healthcare IT, with a focus on Epic applications. 3. Epic Certification is mandatory. 4. Proven experience in implementing, supporting, and optimizing Epic applications in a healthcare setting. 5. Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex system issues. 6. Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both technical and non-technical stakeholders. 7. Experience in developing and delivering end-user training. 8. Knowledge of healthcare regulations and standards. 9. Proven ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team. 10. Strong project management skills, with the ability to lead multiple projects simultaneously and meet deadlines. 11. Willingness to provide on-call support outside of regular business hours as needed.
