Lead Application Packaging Engineer

To take ownership of the enterprise application packaging and delivery ecosystem, the contract-to-hire Lead Application Packaging Engineer will manage the creation, testing, and deployment of application packages while providing technical leadership and mentorship in a remote environment. Key responsibilities Lead the creation, testing, maintenance, and quality review of application packages using MSI, Win32, MSIX, and script-based deployment methods Coordinate enterprise application deployments, release schedules, and validation activities using Intune and approved endpoint management platforms Own application lifecycle management, including inventory, version control, patching, updates, and retirement planning Required qualifications 6+ years of experience in application packaging, endpoint engineering, or systems engineering environments Expert-level experience with Microsoft Intune and strong experience in packaging and deploying applications in enterprise environments Hands-on expertise with MSI, Win32, MSIX, silent installs, and PowerShell scripting Experience with Patch My PC or comparable third-party patching solutions Preferred experience with Autopilot, Entra ID, Microsoft Graph API, or Cloud VDI environments
