Mimecast Extraction Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Migration SME (8–10 years experience) to lead a large-scale email archive extraction from Mimecast to Microsoft Azure Blob Storage.

Primary Responsibilities

• Lead end-to-end migration of legacy email archives from Mimecast Cloud Archive to Azure Blob Storage.
• Extract high-volume data using Mimecast APIs, eDiscovery, and tools like TransVault/Nuix.
• Develop PowerShell/Python scripts for API automation, batching, and rate-limit handling.
• Design and manage secure Azure Blob Storage (Hot/Cool/Archive tiers, RBAC, lifecycle policies).
• Ensure zero data loss, data integrity, and maintain chain of custody.
• Troubleshoot API, extraction, and performance issues at log level.

Required Skills

• 8–10 years in IT Infrastructure / Cloud Engineering / Data Migration.
• Strong hands-on experience with Mimecast Cloud Archive and bulk exports.
• Expertise in REST APIs and enterprise migration tools (TransVault, Nuix, etc.).
• Strong Azure Blob Storage experience (security, tiers, RBAC, lifecycle management).
• Proficient in PowerShell/Python scripting for automation and troubleshooting.
