Job Description

Join a leading AI lab''s cutting-edge GenAI team and help build foundational AI models from the ground up. We''re seeking advanced Excel experts with deep, hands-on experience in the IT / Enterprise Software domain to bring real-world spreadsheet and analytical expertise that elevates the quality of our AI training data.

This role is for IT and enterprise software professionals who use Excel as a daily driver, data analysis, modeling, dashboards, and reporting, in roles such as IT management, IT and technical project or program management, IT operations and systems, IT asset, license, and vendor management, capacity planning, IT budgeting, and data reconciliation and reporting. This is a W-2 employment position with Cincinnatus LLC, with the opportunity to be placed at a leading AI Lab as part of their extended workforce.

Key Responsibilities
  • Guide research teams to close knowledge gaps and improve AI model performance on Excel-based tasks within the IT / Enterprise Software domain.
  • Design realistic, domain-relevant Excel tasks drawn from your professional experience, and write accurate, well-structured solutions.
  • Evaluate Excel tasks and solutions and provide clear, written feedback.
  • Collaborate with other subject matter experts to ensure consistency and accuracy in training data.
Core Qualifications
  • Strong, hands-on Excel proficiency for real analytical work, comfortable with nested formulas and lookups (e.g., XLOOKUP, INDEX/MATCH, dynamic arrays), PivotTables, dashboards, and Excel''s built-in analytical tools. Experience with Power Query, Power Pivot, or macros/VBA is a plus.
  • Hands-on professional experience in an IT / Enterprise Software role where Excel is part of your day-to-day, for example, IT management, IT or technical project/program management, IT operations and systems, or IT budgeting, licensing, and reporting.
  • Demonstrable career progression in your field.
  • Ability to engage reliably for at least 20 hours/week during weekdays.
  • Verbal and written communication skills, problem-solving skills, and interpersonal skills.
  • United States, based only.
