Recruiting Team Lead at Concero Technology Group

Seeking a highly skilled Azure Data Architect to join our growing data and analytics team. This is a unique opportunity to take ownership of a newly built data lake infrastructure and play a strategic role in driving data initiatives across the organization. The ideal candidate will be a technical leader with expertise in Microsoft Fabric, OneLake, and Azure data architecture, and experience with modern tools such as DBT and Fivetran.

Key Responsibilities

• Take full ownership of organization's new Azure-based data lake environment once the initial build by a third-party vendor is complete.
• Architect, optimize, and maintain scalable, secure, and high-performing data solutions within Microsoft Azure, including OneLake and Fabric.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to understand requirements and translate them into robust data architecture and models.
• Leverage DBT for data transformation and Fivetran for data ingestion across various sources.
• Present findings, architecture strategies, and recommendations to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Continually assess the data platform’s capabilities and recommend enhancements that align with business goals.
• Learn and internalize business domain knowledge to proactively identify opportunities for data-driven improvements.

Qualifications

• Proven experience as an Azure Data Architect or similar role with deep expertise in Microsoft Fabric and OneLake.
• Strong hands-on experience with DBT, Fivetran, and modern data pipeline tools.
• Solid understanding of data lakehouse architecture, ELT/ETL processes, data modeling, and governance.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills; able to explain complex technical concepts to business users.
• Self-starter with strong analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.
• Experience working in or closely with business functions to deliver value through data solutions.
• Preference for candidates located in St. Louis, MO, or willing to relocate.
