Reporting directly to the University Chief Information Officer (CIO), the Deputy Chief Information Officer Academic and Administrative Technologies serves as a deputy for the CIO with strategic leadership and overall operational oversight and accountability for all IT services provided by WashU IT to the academic and administrative business units in the seven schools and Continuing and Professional Studies (CAPS) on the Danforth Campus, and the central fiscal unit (CFU) of the university.
The position has key relationships, engagement, and a strategic understanding with university executive leadership, in particular the deans and business managers for: The School of Arts and Sciences; The Brown School; The McKelvey School of Engineering; The Olin Business School; The Sam Fox School of Design & Visual Arts; The School of Law; The School of Public Health; and Continuing and Professional Studies.
The position also works closely with the Deputy CIO for Research, Clinical and Medical Education Technologies, the Associate Vice Chancellor and Chief of Staff, and the Chief Technology Officer to define and execute strategic directions, operational priorities, and execution across the entire university.

Job Location/Working Conditions: Offices located across the university's campuses.
Physical Environment: Normal office environment; in-person on-campus presence required; not approved for fully remote work.
Physical Effort: Typically working at a desk or table; repetitive wrist, hand, or finger movement; activities will require trips to many university offices and offsite locations.

Education: Bachelor's degree
Work Experience: Progressively Responsible Leadership And Implementation Of Information Technology And/Or Operational Efficiencies (10 Years)

Salary Range $186,900.00 – $328,800.00 annually
