Job Description

Insight Global is seeking an experienced contractor to support the Digital Vendor Management Office (VMO) with technology sourcing, vendor negotiations, and third-party management activities.

This role will independently lead and support sourcing events, commercial negotiations, vendor performance activities, and other third-party lifecycle needs while partnering closely with Digital, IT, Legal, Finance, Cybersecurity, HR, and business stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead technology sourcing events, including RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Lead vendor pricing and commercial negotiations for software, SaaS, cloud, professional services, managed services, and other technology solutions.
  • Review proposals, pricing models, licensing structures, payment terms, and commercial terms to identify negotiation opportunities and optimize value.
  • Partner with Legal and internal stakeholders through contract negotiation and execution.
  • Support vendor performance management, including business reviews, performance concerns, contractual commitments, and corrective actions.
  • Support third-party risk management activities and coordinate with appropriate internal stakeholders.
  • Manage assigned vendor activities throughout the lifecycle, including intake, sourcing, negotiation, onboarding, renewals, and vendor exit.
  • Maintain appropriate documentation and tracking of sourcing, contracting, renewal, and vendor-management activities.

Qualifications

  • 7+ years of experience in technology vendor management, strategic sourcing, technology procurement, or contract negotiations.
  • Strong experience negotiating technology pricing, contracts, and commercial terms.
  • Demonstrated experience independently leading RFPs, RFIs, and RFQs.
  • Experience with software, SaaS, cloud, managed services, and professional services agreements.
  • Strong commercial, analytical, negotiation, and vendor-management skills.
  • Ability to independently manage multiple initiatives and work effectively across Digital, IT, Legal, Finance, Cybersecurity, HR, and business teams.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Technology, Supply Chain, or related field preferred.

Location: Preference for candidates local to the Milwaukee/Southeastern Wisconsin area with the ability to work onsite up to 3 days a week.
