Healthcare Cloud (Azure/AWS) Engagement Manager

Description

As a member of our Cloud Services delivery team, you will have the opportunity to directly influence the growth of our practice as we look to expand our services across other healthcare organizations. You will work in partnership with our leadership and delivery teams to support our healthcare customers with your project and team leadership capabilities, ensuring that our client partnerships and the engagements we have with them are successful and deliver valuable outcomes.

Essential Functions:

• Develop and manage relationships with client leadership and teams
• Work with relevant client resources to define project scope and deliverables and facilitate stakeholder acceptance of deliverables
• Develop detailed implementation plans for implementing cloud solutions (Azure/AWS) including establishing key milestones and finalizing budget/scope
• Lead Cloud projects (Azure/AWS) and work-streams through discovery, design, build, test, and deployment activities (from an oversight perspective, not technical)
• Manage all aspects of the project/workstream, including monitoring and identifying any project issues early to be able to mitigate any risk for the client
• Provide hands-on leadership and Project Management to ensure deadlines are met and key deliverables are always accurate
• Work with a team of both functional and technical consultants through requirements gathering to implementation
• Assist with executing system validation and preparing the organization for transition
• Manage the project team’s hours allocations based on weekly work deliverables ensuring hours are worked to plan
• Provide routine status reporting both internally and to clients to report on project health and status, financials and RAID items
• Draft and facilitate execution of Change Orders to the Statement of Work (SOW) including defining contractual terms and managing discussions/negotiations with the client
• Partner with client to identify opportunities for account growth through additional service offerings based on the client’s strategic roadmap and business objectives

Education/Experience Required:

• 5+ years of experience in project management
• 12+ months of experience managing cloud related projects (Azure/AWS), implementations, or operations
• 2+ years' experience managing Epic Cloud migrations in the healthcare industry (preferred)

Desired:

• 2+ years of cloud experience within hospital setting (Azure/AWS)
• Amazon Connect experience is highly preferred
• Experience managing engagements for consultancies
• Experience developing detailed implementation plans
• Project management and process improvement certification (PMP, Six Sigma, etc.)
• Healthcare/hospital industry experience

Working Environment/Physical Requirements

• Up to 10% travel, otherwise remote
