Software Application Engineer

Supporting U.S. federal government contracts, the full-time remote Software Application Engineer will collaborate with Product Managers and QA Engineers, design and develop products in a metadata-driven environment, and troubleshoot customer-reported issues while mentoring team members. Key responsibilities Collaborate with Product Managers and QA Engineers on functional design and analysis of requirements Design and develop a product in a metadata-driven development environment Troubleshoot customer-reported issues and mentor team members through pair programming and code reviews Required qualifications 5+ years of experience with UML, web application development, or SaaS technologies 5+ years of experience in design and development using an object-oriented language such as Java, Python, C#, or C++ 5+ years of experience designing and developing business applications 5+ years of experience with software performance design and analysis Bachelor's degree in a computer-related field or equivalent work experience
