We are looking for a collaborative and solutions-oriented Vantagepoint Business Enablement Partner. The Deltek Business Process & Accounting Enablement Partner is responsible for designing, aligning, and executing accounting and finance workflows within Deltek Vantagepoint (Vantagepoint) to ensure the system supports accurate, efficient, and scalable financial and accounting operations. The position plays a key role in guiding customization decisions, evaluating tradeoffs, and ensuring workflow changes align with Deltek capabilities and long-term system health. This role reports to the Chief Financial Officer and partners closely with the Deltek Administrator, who retains ownership of system configuration, administration, and technical execution. Key Responsibilities Accounting Process Design & Workflow ExecutionDesign, document, and maintain field accounting and corporate accounting workflows within Vantagepoint, including billing, revenue recognition support, cost capture, and related financial processes.Translate accounting requirements into Vantagepoint -aligned workflow execution, partnering with the ERP Administrator on technical feasibility and setup.Identify gaps between current accounting practices and Vantagepoint capabilities, recommending process adjustments to reduce workarounds or system workflows support consistency, accuracy, and auditability across projects, organizations, and locations. Finance & Accounting EnablementProvide training, guidance, and ongoing support specifically for accounting and finance users.Act as a subject matter expert on how accounting teams should interact with Vantagepoint for day-to-day financial with the Controller to support close processes, recurring activities, and compliance needs without performing transactional accounting work. Customization Evaluation & Governance SupportParticipate in customization and enhancement decisions, evaluating requests through the lens of accounting impact, process fit, and system sustainability.Advise on when configuration or customization is appropriate versus when accounting workflows should change to align with standard Vantagepoint functionality. Collaboration with Deltek AdministratorWork in close partnership with the Deltek Administrator, who remains responsible for: System configuration and changesUser setup and securityTechnical troubleshooting and Deltek support Data Quality & Reporting ReadinessEnsure that accounting workflows produce clean, consistent, and reliable data suitable for reporting.Support accounting teams in understanding Vantagepoint financial data and outputs.Partner with internal PowerBI resources by clarifying accounting logic and workflow outcomes for proper business dashboards and reporting-without developing reports or dashboards.
