About Amaley
Amaley is a reproductive-health media and services platform helping women make informed decisions about fertility, relationships, and their futures.
We create candid, engaging content about egg freezing, IVF, endometriosis, PCOS, dating, and international fertility care.
The Role
We are looking for a creative, highly online Social Media & Community Associate to grow Amaley's presence across Instagram, TikTok, and YouTube-and help turn our audience into an active, supportive community.
You will develop content ideas, write copy, manage publishing, engage with our audience, and use performance data to improve our content. You will also help build Amaley's private community and organize virtual and in-person programming.
Responsibilities
Manage Amaley's social media calendar and publishing schedule
Develop hooks, captions, calls to action, and short-form content ideas
Turn interviews and existing footage into engaging social content
Research relevant trends, news, creators, and cultural conversations
Respond thoughtfully to comments and direct messages
Help launch and manage Amaley's private online community
Welcome new members and initiate meaningful conversations
Organize expert Q&As, virtual discussions, and occasional NYC meetups
Identify potential patient storytellers, contributors, and ambassadors
Track social performance, follower growth, and community engagement
Prepare a concise weekly report with insights and recommendations
Collaborate with Amaley's founder, video editors, and designers
Who We're Looking For
Experience managing or growing social media accounts or online communities
Strong understanding of Instagram, TikTok, YouTube, and short-form video
Excellent writing, communication, and storytelling skills
Strong instincts for hooks, trends, and culturally relevant content
Comfortable discussing fertility, dating, relationships, and women's health
Empathetic and thoughtful when handling sensitive conversations
Organized, proactive, analytical, and comfortable in a startup environment
Experience in women's health, healthcare, media, community building, or consumer startups is helpful but not required.
