Matec builds complex ultrasonic testing systems used by major aerospace and industrial manufacturers. This isn't repetitive service work. Every system is different. Every problem requires real thinking. You'll be the person customers rely on when things get technical. What You'll Do:Troubleshoot and fix complex electro-mechanical systems (remote + on-site)Travel (30-50%) across the U.S. and internationallyCommission multi-axis motion systemsDiagnose issues with motors, motion control, and instrumentationRepair, modify, and install equipment in real-world environments What You Bring:3-5 years in manufacturing, field service, or machine buildingStrong hands-on troubleshooting skillsExperience with motors, motion control, robotics, or automationComfortable working directly with customersEngineering degree preferred (or solid hands-on background)Excited to travel both nationally and internationally (25%) The Upside:Work on high-end, custom-built systems-not repetitive equipmentAutonomy in the field + real technical challengesStrong team, flexible environment, and solid benefitsExposure to global customers and industries If you're looking to get off the bench and into a role where your skills actually matter-this is it.
