DFW Pet Sitting Services is adding sitters in The Colony and Castle Hills, the stretch between Lewisville and Frisco along Lake Lewisville. We've served North Texas pet owners since 2003 with around 200 W-2 sitters and 8,000 client families, and we keep each sitter within about 5 miles of home so the drives are short and the same person shows up every time.
The visit
25 minutes in the client's home while they're at work or away. Meals, fresh water, litter or a yard break, medication if the pet takes any, a walk when it's part of the routine, and the rest of the time keeping the animals company. Dogs and cats.
How clients come to you
A pet owner near you books. You get a text with the address, the dates and times, and the pets. You say yes or no. If you say yes, you meet them first (paid), and from then on they're yours. Every future booking from that household comes to you. Need time off? Tell us and we arrange backup. The client stays with you.
What we're looking for
Someone who lives here, has a car and a phone that can send photos, and can be available mornings, middays, and evenings. You won't work all three windows daily. Middays are where we need the most coverage, and they're the visits clients care about most.
Pay
$12.50 for a 25-minute visit, or $25 an hour of visit time, as the floor for one or two pets within 5 miles. Most households have more pets than that, so a typical visit runs $12.50 to about $16, and medication, extra miles, holidays, and same-day requests are added on top. You're a W-2 employee: taxes withheld, company liability insurance, no upfront costs.
