PURPOSERollon by Timken is seeking to add a Territory Sales Manager to its Central US team. The Central Territory Sales Manager will drive sales in their assigned territory and assist the Regional Sales Manager when needed on national and cross region initiatives. This position is responsible for developing and executing annual business plans, developing and managing customer relationships within the assigned territory, and represents the company at trade shows. States in this territory are: WI, IL, MN, IA, MS, ND, SD, NE, KS and candidates from any of these states will be considered. RESPONSIBILITIESGrow sales in the assigned territoryCustomer Relationship Management: Develops, manages and maintains close, customer-centric relationshipsBusiness Plan Execution and Development: Creates and executes a robust business plan each yearInterfaces with key cross-functional areas, such as Marketing, Engineering, Product Management, and Supply Chain to ensure customer requirements are metDevelop and solicit business from new accountsCustomer Project ManagementManage High Tech Distributor (HTD) partner business in the sales territory and interface with the HTD sales processTarget key accounts and penetrate themPlan and organize daily work schedule to call on existing and prospective accountsMaster product information / application knowledge through training and personal effortsDevelop effective sales presentations tailored uniquely to each accountKeep management informed through the Customer Relationship Management (CRM) systemManage opportunity list and grow the prospect listAttend Trade ShowsTravel up to 50% of the time domestically, including overnight stays and air travel BASIC QUALIFICATIONSBachelor's Degree/Engineering degree preferredAt least 4 years of field industrial sales experience in the automation or linear motion spaceMust be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship (no sponsorship is available for this position)Must be located within 90 mins of a major airport COMPENSATION AND BENEFITSWe offer a competitive compensation package that includes health, dental, vision, life, disability, legal services, pet insurance, 401(k) with a generous company match, paid time off (vacation, sick, paternity/maternity,10 paid holidays), tuition reimbursement.
