The Roles: We are hiring two Compressor Mechanics! One is entry-level, and one requires five or more years of experience. Apply here for both openings.

Role Description The Compressor Mechanic performs daily compressor operations, including preventive maintenance, repairs, engine swings, and the overall upkeep of compression equipment. This position works closely with the Midstream Foreman to help ensure that compressors, separation equipment, and other facility equipment are properly maintained, operate safely, and function reliably. Work is performed primarily outdoors around natural gas compression and production facilities with regular exposure to changing weather conditions, noise, machinery, and potential other hazards of oil and gas operations.

Key Responsibilities
• Monitor compressors daily to ensure equipment is operating safely and efficiently.
• Perform repairs and assist with both routine maintenance and major compressor work.
• Generate daily reports to monitor compressor performance and runtime efficiency.
• Monitor oil and coolant levels at each facility and order replenishment supplies as needed.
• Report all parts and supplies used during preventive maintenance and repairs to support inventory replenishment.

Minimum Qualifications

Experienced: Minimum 5 years of experience operating and maintaining natural gas compressors
Entry-Level: Previous experience operating and maintaining natural gas compressors (0-4 years) is preferred but not required.
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
Must live within 30 miles of a Field Office (Logansport, LA or Waskom, TX) or willing to relocate
Must have access to a personal truck for mobilization that's in good working condition. A monthly vehicle allowance and fuel card will be provided.
Must be available to participate in the on-call rotation (typically 1-2 weeks per month).
