Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Diesel Mechanic role based in Holbrook, AZ. The Diesel Mechanic will inspect, diagnose, and repair diesel engines and related systems on tow trucks and heavy equipment, including brakes, transmissions, electrical systems, and hydraulics. Responsibilities include performing scheduled and preventive maintenance, completing service records, and ensuring all vehicles and equipment meet safety and regulatory standards. The role involves troubleshooting mechanical issues in the shop and, at times, in the field, coordinating repairs with dispatch and drivers, and maintaining a clean, organized work area. The Diesel Mechanic will use diagnostic tools, follow manufacturer guidelines, and collaborate with team members to minimize downtime and support reliable fleet operations.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Diesel Mechanics skills with experience working on heavy-duty trucks and Heavy Equipment.
Candidates should possess hands-on Vehicle Maintenance skills, including engine, brake, electrical, and drivetrain service.
Candidates should possess Equipment Maintenance skills, including inspections, adjustments, and repairs of towing and recovery equipment.
Candidates should possess Preventive Maintenance skills to plan and perform routine services that extend vehicle and equipment life.
Relevant certifications (e.g., ASE, diesel technology) and experience with diagnostic tools are beneficial.
Ability to read and interpret service manuals, follow safety procedures, and maintain accurate maintenance records is expected.
Physical ability to lift tools and parts, work in various weather conditions, and perform tasks that require standing, bending, and climbing is required.
Valid driver's license; a commercial driver's license (CDL) or willingness to obtain one is a plus.
