Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Early Childhood Educator (Mandarin) role based in Cambridge, MA. The educator will plan and deliver developmentally appropriate lessons in Mandarin that support children's cognitive, social-emotional, and language development. Responsibilities include creating engaging, play-based learning activities, guiding daily classroom routines, and maintaining a safe and inclusive environment for young children. The educator will communicate regularly with families about children's progress, collaborate with colleagues on curriculum and school events, and complete documentation such as lesson plans, observations, and progress reports. Additional duties include preparing learning materials, participating in staff meetings and professional development, and supporting school-wide cultural and educational initiatives.
Qualifications

Strong interpersonal skills, including the ability to build trusting relationships with children, families, and colleagues.
Knowledge of early childhood development and experience applying developmentally appropriate practices in a classroom setting.
Creativity skills to design engaging, play-based activities and culturally rich lessons in Mandarin.
Experience working with children in early childhood or related educational settings.
Organization skills to manage classroom routines, materials, documentation, and communication with families.
Fluency in Mandarin and proficiency in English, with clear and respectful communication in both languages.
Relevant education in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field; certification or licensure in early childhood education is a plus.
Commitment to inclusive, culturally responsive, and non-discriminatory teaching practices.
Ability to work on-site in Cambridge, MA, and participate in occasional school events outside standard classroom hours.
