Role Description The Elementary Educator is a full-time, on-site role located in Rochester, NY. Our teachers are eligible for TRS (Teacher Retirement Service). This educator will design and deliver grade-appropriate lessons that support biliteracy, social justice awareness, and academic growth for elementary students. Day-to-day responsibilities include planning and implementing standards-based curriculum, differentiating instruction for diverse learning styles, assessing student progress, and providing timely feedback. The educator will engage students in project-based learning, create a safe and inclusive classroom environment, and collaborate with colleagues, support staff, and families to promote student success. Additional duties include participating in professional development, contributing to school-wide initiatives, and maintaining accurate records and communication related to student learning.
Qualifications

Candidates should possess strong Teaching and Elementary Education skills, with experience working with diverse learners.
Candidates should possess Curriculum Development and Education skills to plan standards-aligned, engaging, and differentiated lessons.
Candidates should possess effective Communication skills for collaboration with students, families, and colleagues.
Relevant qualifications include a bachelor's degree in Education or a related field, and appropriate state teaching certification or eligibility.
Additional beneficial skills and qualifications include experience with bilingual or biliteracy instruction, knowledge of culturally responsive pedagogy, classroom management expertise, and commitment to social-emotional learning and social justice education.
