Position Summary

Appolo Heating is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Technician who can confidently diagnose, repair, and maintain residential heating and cooling systems while delivering an exceptional customer experience. This role is ideal for a skilled technician who takes pride in solving problems correctly, communicating honestly with homeowners, and representing the company professionally - someone looking for stability, growth, and a long-term career with a respected company.

Key Responsibilities

Diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems accurately and efficiently
Perform preventive maintenance and system inspections
Service furnaces, boilers, heat pumps, air-conditioning systems, and related equipment
Clearly explain findings, repair options, and recommendations to customers
Complete service documentation accurately and promptly
Identify legitimate opportunities to improve system performance, safety, and efficiency
Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked service vehicle
Follow all company safety standards, procedures, and applicable codes
Provide outstanding customer service during every interaction
Participate in on-call or rotating emergency coverage when required
Support and mentor developing technicians when appropriate

Qualifications

Minimum of three years of residential HVAC service experience preferred
Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills
Working knowledge of gas-fired equipment, air-conditioning systems, heat pumps, and controls
Boiler and hydronic heating experience highly preferred
EPA Section 608 certification required
Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record
Ability to work independently and manage daily service calls
Strong communication and customer-service skills
Ability to use mobile technology and electronic service-management systems
Willingness to complete background and driving-record screenings

Compensation & Benefits

Starting pay of $33.00 per hour ($68,640+ annually) - based on experience, licensing, and technical ability
