We are seeking an A-Level Technician, or a highly capable B-Level Technician with exceptional diagnostic skills, to become the cornerstone of our Wallace shop. This is a leadership role. We are looking for a professional who can accurately troubleshoot complex issues, turn wrenches with precision, and set a standard of excellence that we can build a strong team around.
If you are a problem-solver who takes pride in doing the job right the first time and has the natural leadership ability to elevate the technicians around you, this is your bay.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform advanced diagnostics and troubleshooting on a wide variety of vehicle makes and models (drivability, electrical, HVAC, and mechanical systems).
- Execute complex repairs, ranging from heavy line work to intricate electrical repairs, efficiently and accurately.
- Serve as the shop leader and mentor, guiding junior technicians and helping build a collaborative, high-performance shop culture.
- Perform thorough Multi-Point Vehicle Inspections using Tekmetric shop management software to clearly communicate vehicle needs to the service advisor.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe working environment.
Requirements:
- Experience: Proven track record as an A-Level Technician, or a B-Level Technician with exceptionally strong diagnostic and troubleshooting capabilities.
- Leadership: Natural leadership qualities with the desire and patience to mentor others and build a team.
- Tools: Must possess a comprehensive, professional-grade set of personal tools to perform all heavy and light repairs. (Note: The shop provides all necessary high-end scan tools and specialty diagnostic equipment).
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable using modern shop management software and tablets for repair order tracking.
- Certifications: Proven real-world experience and diagnostic capability are the deciding factors.
- License: Valid driver's license.
