DFW Pet Sitting Services is looking for sitters who live in Addison, Carrollton, or Farmers Branch. We've been a W-2 employer since 2003, with around 200 sitters and 8,000 client families, and we keep every sitter within about 5 miles of home. If you live in this stretch of North Dallas County, we have clients near you.
What a visit looks like
You go to the client's home. A visit is 25 minutes: food, fresh water, litter or yard break, meds if needed, a walk if it's part of the plan, and the rest of the time hanging out with the animals. Dogs and cats both. Some visits are in apartments and townhomes, some are in houses with yards.
How you get work
Nothing is assigned to you automatically. When a client near you books, you get a text with the details and you answer yes or no. Say yes and that client is yours. Every time they book again, it comes to you first. New households get an in-person meeting before you commit, and you're paid for it.
What we ask
Availability in the morning, at midday, and in the evening. Not all three every day, but the flexibility to cover whichever window a client needs. Midday is our tightest window, and it's the one clients care about most, since they want the same face at the same hour each workday. A car and a phone that can send photos.
Pay
Starting pay is $12.50 per 25-minute visit, or $25 an hour of visit time. That's the floor for one or two pets within 5 miles. Most households have more pets than that, so a typical visit runs $12.50 to about $16, and medication, extra miles, holidays, and same-day requests are added on top. Taxes are withheld and you get a W-2. No upfront costs; we pay for the background check.
