DFW Pet Sitting Services needs sitters in Denton, Corinth, Lake Dallas, Argyle, Justin, Northlake, Roanoke, and Trophy Club. We've been in business since 2003, we employ about 200 sitters as W-2 employees, and we serve roughly 8,000 client families. This part of Denton County is spread out, which is exactly why we need sitters who already live here.
The job
You visit dogs and cats in their own homes. Each visit is 25 minutes: meals, water, litter or a yard break, medication if the pet takes it, a walk when it's on the plan, and time just being with the animals. This is broader than dog walking.
How assignments work
A client books. We text the closest sitter with the address, dates, times, and pets. You say yes or no. If yes, that client is yours going forward. Nobody is ever auto-assigned, and you're never sent to a pet nobody has met. New households get a paid in-person meeting first.
Availability
Morning, midday, and evening availability, but not all three every day. Client travel is unpredictable, so the work comes in waves. Midday is our thinnest slot out here, and it's the visit clients care most about, because they want the same sitter at the same time each workday.
Pay
$12.50 per 25-minute visit, or $25 an hour of visit time, as the floor for one or two pets within 5 miles. Most households have more pets than that, so a typical visit runs $12.50 to about $16, and medication, extra miles, holidays, and same-day requests are added on top. Miles past 5 are paid, but we work to keep you close to home. Taxes withheld, W-2 at year end, background check on us.
